IN REMISSION: EMBRACING A NEW CHAPTER

1) Adjusting to Life After Treatment

Returning to “normal” life after treatment can bring unexpected emotions and challenges. Here are some ways to ease this transition:

  • Accept That It’s Okay to Feel Different – You’ve been through a life-altering experience, and it’s natural to feel changed. Give yourself time to process and adjust to a new normal.
  • Pace Yourself – Cancer treatment can impact physical stamina. Slowly reintegrate activities, hobbies, and responsibilities. Take breaks as needed without guilt.
  • Stay Connected with Your Healthcare Team – Regular follow-ups are essential to monitor your health and catch any changes early. Build a strong relationship with your team to feel supported and reassured.

2) Prioritizing Mental Health and Emotional Well-being
